Seperti terlihat dalam postingan video di akun gosip Instagram @lambenyinyir (29/9/2018), awalnya Via Vallen bertanya pada Afgan tentang lagunya yang pernah dinyanyikan Afgan. "Oh ya, lagu yang mana, yang mana?," tanya Via Vallen penasaran. "Yang Asian Games kemarin. Kan kemarin aku nyanyinya lagu itu di (penutupan) Asian Games," jawab Afgan. "Oh iya itu, coba nyanyi," ujar Via Vallen. Tiba-tiba saja Ayu Ting Ting yang juga ada di situ langsung menyeletuk, "Iya coba nyanyi! Banyak ngomong lu ah, nyanyi," celetuk Ayu Ting Ting. "Nih kunci yang mana nih?," tanya Afgan. "Mau nyanyi aja si Afgan susah banget! Mesti dibayat dulu apa Gan?!," bentak Ayu Ting Ting. "Heboh banget lu, nyanyi ya yanyi aja dulu. Udah malam ini udah gelap gulita shay!," lanjut Ayu. "Kan gue malu Yu, emangnya lu," jawab Afgan dengan wajah yang sudah tidak enak.
Gara-gara sikap Ayu Ting Ting tersebut, para netizen pun langsung ramai mengkritik pelantun lagu 'Sambalado' itu karena dinilai tidak seharusnya memperlakukan Afgan seperti itu. "Kalo ngomong yang sopan dong sama Afgan, dia kelasnya beda apalagi dia laki-laki. Masa perempuan di acara begitu gak sopan banget ngomongnya. Dikira lagi ngomong sama Ruben Onsu atau Ivan Gunawan kali, bedain dong acara Pesbuker, Brownis, sama acara kayak begini, kesel saya," ujar seorang netizen.
"Susah emang turunan mulut comberan, udik lo udah mendarah daging. Bicara gak ada awalan yang benar. Itu live loh. Lo kira keren begitu," kritik netizen yang lain. "Hahahaaa sebenernya dia emang sengaja ngerusak suasana biar ga lama-lama, karena ada via vallen, kan dia iri dan sirik. Via dibangga2in teruss sama masyarakat siih," tebak netizen lainnya. "Susah ya kalo kelas emperan gayanya emang norak dan low attitude," sambung yang lain.
