"Tadi saya mencoba menghubungi gubernur sejak sore tadi juga tidak bisa sambung karena memang kelihatannya komunikasi terganggu," kata Presiden Jokowi di Solo, Jumat (28/9).
Informasi kondisi di Donggala dan Palu yang didapat Jokowi dari Kepala BNPB Laksamana Muda TNI (Purn.) Willem Rampangilei, juga belum detail. Sehingga menyulitkan penanganan lebih komplit. Soalnya Willem Rampangilei masih dalam perjalanan ke sana.
"Kita harapkan besok (hari ini) sudah mendapatkan laporan dan informasi yang lebih detail karena memang para menteri, Kepala BNPB belum sampai ke sana, tapi menuju ke sana dan akan kita tunggu sampai besok pagi kira-kira lapangannya seperti apa," beber Jokowi.

Gempa yang terjadi pukul 17.02 WIB tadi memang membuat pasokan listrik PLN terputus. Akibatnya jaringan telekomunikasi di Donggala dan sekitarnya tak bisa beroperasi. Pemantauan Dirjen Penyelenggaraan Pos dan Informatika, ada 276 base station yang tak bisa digunakan. Tim di lapangan masih coba memulihkan pasokan listrik dengan Mobile Backup Power (MBP). Menteri Kominfo Rudiantara juga sudah mengirim 30 unit telepon satelit untuk memudakan koordinasi penanganan bencana.
