Setelah selesai pemotongannya masukkan 50gr gula merah yang sudah disiapkan tadi, kemudian masukkan juga 200ml air panas. Campuran tersebut akan membuat gula merah larut dalam air. Biarkan beberapa saat agar airnya dingin.


Setelah dingin tambahkan ragi ke dalam campuran tersebut. Biarkan saja seperti itu tanpa perlu diaduk. Campuran ini nantinya akan menghasilkan CO2 alias karbon dioksida. Karbon dioksida bisa menarik perhatian nyamuk untuk masuk ke dalam botol.


Nah, kemudian botol yang berbentuk corong pasang dengan keadaan terbalik. pastikan corongnya gak tenggelam dalam larutan campuran.

Beri selotip sambungan antara corong botol tadi dengan botol.

Kemudian bungkuslah botol perangkap nyamuk ini dengan sesuatu yang berwarna hitam, seperti plastik atau kain hitam.
