Sebagaimana merdeka.com melaporkan (26/6/14 ) , Ketua Umum Gerakan Pemuda (GP) Ansor, Nusron Wahid, meminta warga Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) tak melupakan orang-orang yang telah menghina mantan Presiden Abdurrahman Wahid ( Gus Dur). Hal itu diungkapkan Nusron terkait pernyataan Prabowo Subianto pada 2001 silam kepada jurnalis investigatif asal Amerika Serikat, Allan Nairn, yang menghina Gus Dur.
"Reaksi kita cuma satu, kita tidak pilih Prabowo karena pernah menghina Gus Dur, titik," Nusron seperti dikutip merdeka.com
Masih di merdeka.com , adik mantan Presiden Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), Lily Wahidangkat juga bicara soal testimoni jurnalis investigatif asal Amerika Serikat, Allan Nairn . Lily Wahid mengaku percaya atas testimoni Allan Nairn.
"Saya percaya (Prabowo bicara itu), kalau lihat sifat-sifatnya Bowo (Prabowo)," kata Lily Wahid kepada merdeka.com, Rabu (25/6).
Dalam testimoninya, Allan Nairn memaparkan hasil wawancaranya dengan Prabowo pada Juni dan Juli 2001. Saat itu, menurutnya, Prabowo mengecam Gus Dur dan menghina fisiknya yang tak sempurna.
"Kalau menurut saya Prabowo tipe orang yang gak punya hati dan nurani. Dia bisa ngomong mencla-mencle seperti itu tapi sekian tahun beda (pakai perkataan Gus Dur untuk iklan kampanye). Kalau orang konsisten pasti tetap sama perbuatan dan perkataannya," kata Lily Wahid.
Dia meminta masyarakat cerdas agar tak mudah dibodohi untuk kepentingan politik. "Saya lebih pilih orang yang bisa kerja untuk rakyatnya. Jokowi mungkin gak sempurna tapi dibandingkan dengan Bowo," kata Lily Wahid saat itu.
Kemudian, politisi PKB, Marwan Jafar juga ikut geram atas pernyataan Prabowo yang dinilai menghina Gus Dur dalam wawancaranya kepada Allan Nairn itu yang informasinya dilakukan di kawasan Mega Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan. Menurut dia, tidak sepatutnya seorang guru bangsa seperti Gus Dur dihina seperti itu oleh Prabowo.
"Itu sangat tidak sopan dan tidak bermartabat, beliau kan guru bangsa, mantan presiden, ulama besar, seorang negarawan. Saya kira rakyat Indonesia harus tahu bahwa Prabowo telah menghina Gus Dur dan itu cara yang tidak sopan dan tidak beradab," ujar Marwan kepada merdeka.com, Rabu (25/6).
